This past Sunday, I went to the Pasadena City College (PCC) Flea Market. I haven’t been in years and I was pretty excited to see what they had to offer.
Admission into the market is free and the parking is only $2.00. When I got there around 11:30am, car parking was almost full (get there early, folks!). I found plenty of motorcycle parking for my little scooter.
The walk from the parking structure is about 5 minutes across the campus. They provide a free shuttle service to and from the market.
When I finally arrived at the market, I was a little overwhelmed by the number of vendors that took over 2 levels of the parking structure. There is so much stuff to look at – records, dolls, china, furniture, photos, toys, jewelry, clothing, hats, purses, glassware and more!
After 2+ hours, I scored some photos (I’ll post those soon!) and a lovely lobby card. As I drove away from PCC, I saw more vendors in the open parking lot that I completely missed! Oh well, next time.
The PCC Flea Market is on the 1st Sunday of every month – 7am to 3pm, on the corner of Bonnie and Colorado in Pasadena, California. For more information, go to the Pasadena City College website.
